Misty rain welcomed our entrance onto the property that holds the antiquated "dungeon" whose grasp and restraint on more than several spirits has remained strong over many years.
Describing the chamber that is painted a bright white, one would think you were in an old world cold cellar where wine, cheese and meats would be stored. The vault is more than a storage area for food staples, perhaps it was a waiting area for the slaves who sought freedom in the northern states of early America.
Large and luminous were the walls that met a high curved ceiling decorated with large "meat" hooks and broken chains, as well as two open areas (holes) that could have been the spots they raised the food staples to the upstairs area of the cabin or home, or where the waiting slaves would enter the free world.
What ever they were used for might remain a mystery forever, but one thing is certain, the location is highly active and has been for a very long time. A full blown investigation is being scheduled to find out the source in the dungeon, the "pulsating" of the spirits and what lies beyond.........
