The Dum Dum Girls make their way to the EARL this Thursday night

Filled with the right amount of distortion and fuzz the Dum Dum Girls’ (DDG) music reaches out of the speakers and smacks the listener right in the ears. With a ballsy punk attitude DDG wears their bravado on their sleeves but once you wade though the churning guitars and pounding rhythms and get to the heart of their tunes maybe, just maybe they aren’t as tough as they lead us to be.

This Thursday night DDG makes a stopover in Atlanta treating all that venture into the back room at the EARL with some mighty fine music. Songs from their latest record, Too True, will be the focus of the evening but with a wealth of songs in their musical chest look for a set list with something for everyone. Loud fuzz infused rock n roll is their calling card and when they play live on stage you can bet a good amount of ear drums will be damaged.

So kick your weekend off early and get to the EARL for a night of rock music you will be telling folks about for years to come. Be sure to get their early so you can catch supporting acts, Blouse and Vertical Scratchers. A night full of tunes and some ice cold beverages make is a win/win in my book.

WHO: Dum Dum Girls with Blouse & Vertical Scratchers
WHEN: Thursday, March 20th, 8:30pm
