The Duggars of "19 Kids and Counting" fame took their sizable clan to Asia. According to Radar Online on Feb. 21, this reality TV family was tracked all the way from Arkansas to Asia on an adventure that is sure to produce memories to last a lifetime.

That said, even if these Americans weren't the subjects of a small screen program, they'd likely have awesome stories to tell for the rest of their lives after taking this tantalizing trip. After all, how many uninitiated travelers from small towns in the U.S. travel in groups of 25 kin in order to take a trip far away from their comfort zones in order to have the ultimate cultural experience?

Well, the Duggars, for one family. In fact, this amazing adventure takes Jim Bob, Michelle, their children, and their grandchildren to Japan and to China. The gang take in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Beijing for some unforgettable interactions that are likely not experiences these particular sojourners could ever have thought possible in even their wildest imaginations.

For instance, the lot are invited to dine on live scorpions and very fresh sushi while taking part in their Asian trip. The guys learn fighting, Samurai style. The clan are confronted with having to go to the bathroom in a toilet that is just a hole in the ground. The girls try on Geisha garb, a Japanese treat. The whole tribe take a surprising subway ride in Beijing.

While doing all of this and more, this TV family is met with nightmarish travel logistics not everyone must deal with when going out on the road. For instance, the 25 Duggars are equipped with 40 suitcases, something that makes every hotel exit and airport stop a tricky proposition, to say the least.

That said, this likable small screen family does volunteer to indulge in one very tough travel challenge by trying to speak at least a word or two in a language other than English. However, Jim Bob's favorite new expression while taking on The Duggars "19 Kids and Counting" adventure in Asia that takes the family to Tokyo, Kyoto and Beijing is, "Do you speak English?"

But who can blame Jim Bob?

Mandarin and Japanese are two very tough languages to learn in a very short amount of time while traveling the turf where the people who live there are obviously fluent in their native tongues and while not promising to speak very much English, if any.

Nevertheless, those people who run into the Duggars when these daring souls visit the Far East will probably be charmed by this high profile American family who will probably greatly contribute to their Asian brothers' and sisters' memories too.

The Duggars episode called "19 Kids and Counting: Duggars Do Asia part 1"can be viewed on TLC on March 12.
