The Duchess of Cambridge takes a misstep at St. Patrick's Day parade

The Duchess of Cambridge is known all around the world for her picture perfect fashion and perfect presentation. Today however it was reported by the Belfast Telegraph that while at the St. Patrick's Day parade at Mons Barracks in Alderhot, Hamshire the royal got her shoe caught in a grate. Luckily she was able to recover quickly from this incident in a graceful manner.

Kate recycled both her coat and hat for this event. The green Emilia Wickstead fit and flair coat design she selected was the same one she wore last year to the event. She replaced all of the brown accents she wore before and opted for black instead. She traded the 'Betty Boop' hat for a Lock & Co. 'Fairy Tale' felt beret with floral detailing. Emerald drop earrings added a touch of color and a golden sharock brooch fit the occasion perfectly. To me the brown was much softer and more flattering.

Two-hundred soldiers marched in full uniform for the parade. You just have to love the festive nature of this day. It was a mixture of formal and fun and the Duchess of Cambridge is a bit of both.

Kate is barely showing. One thing that she is showing is that no misstep will ever slow her down. She was meant to be a royal don't you think?
