In the past few decades the mental health industry has became larger and larger and the term psychology has unfortunately became blindly accepted as science when the reality is nothing further from the truth.
The reality is that psychology is nothing more than a well crafted pseudoscience that has made its way into mainstream North American culture and this is very dangerous because its implications are very severe. Right now "Mental Health Professionals" in the Province of Ontario have labelled thousands of normal, innocent children and teens with some form of "Mental Disorder" Such as ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Bi Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, etc. Then after these "Mental Health professionals" label a child or teenager with their mental disorder of choice, they will often immediately prescribe the children with dangerous and powerful psychotropic drugs that are in almost every case, unproven to even assist with the condition that the child is labelled to have.
The unfortunate reality is that the whole mental health industry is full of lies and deceit. Contrary to popular belief, there is absolutely no physical test in existence to prove that any child has any "Mental Disorder" or to even prove that any of these so called "Mental Disorders" even exist to begin with. One of the blatant lies that the mental health industry has told everyone for years is that depression and many other "Mental Disorders" can be explained by a chemical imbalance in the brain and by using drugs one can restore this imbalance and therefore manage the perceived problem.
The issue is that so far there has been no proof whatsoever that actually proves this theory. A quote from Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor of psychiatry, New York State University "Nobody has yet measured, demonstrated or created a test to show that somebody has a chemical imbalance in their brain period" So one could ask themselves, If in fact you cannot prove that there is a chemical imbalance in the brain, how could you possibly create a drug to solve this imbalance?
The truth is that there are no independent or government studies whatsoever that prove the effectiveness of any psychotropic drug on the market today. Then setting aside the fact that these drugs are not proven to even be effective for what they are being prescribed for, these drugs that children are being prescribed in the vast majority of cases are not even approved by health Canada for the use in people under the age of 18 years old.
Some examples of these unapproved drugs would be Clozaril, Resperdal, Zyprexa, Seroquel, Geodon, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Celexa, Luvox, Remeron, Zoloft and Effexor. Also on Feb 2nd 2004 Health Canada issued a public warning that the use of antidepressants such as Paxil, Wellbutrin, Celexa, Luvox, Remeron, Zoloft and Effexor increased the risk of self-injury and suicide in children. Yet for some reason, dangerous drugs with often lethal side effects are still prescribed to children on a regular basis. People need to realize that when a child is labelled with a mental disorder and placed on a drug to "Make the child better"......
The reality is that first of all, there is no scientific proof that any of these "Mental Disorders" even exist to begin with and then on top of that, these powerful psychotropic drugs that children are prescribed are not even licensed for use in people under the age of 18 years old! The reality is that these drugs aside from often having dangerous and lethal side effects, do nothing more than dumb down the child, and takes away their creativity, playfulness, sensitivity, awareness and blocks all emotion and essentially takes the life out of the child and therefore makes them much easier to manage and in a sense creating what some people call "Zombie Children".
This is one of the reasons that schools and school officials are so happy to promote the mental health industry and these "disorders" because the drugs that are prescribed to children make it much easier for teachers to handle their students. This becomes even more problematic when the Children's Aid Society gets involved because they have more than one reason to benefit from having all of their children labelled with a mental disorder and put on a dangerous psychotropic drug. Why are the vast majority of children in the care of the Children's Aid Society diagnosed with a mental disorder and prescribed at least one of the many dangerous, ineffective, unapproved, psychotropic drugs?
The first thing that the public needs to realize is that that every Children's Aid Society in the province of Ontario is in fact a private organization that can receive anywhere from $71.00 to 300.00 per day per child in their care. What makes that child a $300.00 child as opposed to a $71.00 child? Well the CAS receives more money if a child is disabled in some way or if the child has a "Mental Disorder".
Then when these children are on these drugs the children become much easier to manage which inevitably makes the process of housing these children much easier and much more cost effective. So in the opinion of many, it is very obvious that the Children's Aid Societies most certainly have some sort of unholy alliance with the mental health "professionals" to put their children on drugs and everybody makes more money!
So therefore the Children's Aid Society is in fact creating zombie children for no other reason than their own financial gain! It is also the opinion of many people that have researched the subject that the vast majority of the mental health professionals are knowingly involved in making diagnoses based on no valid scientific proof and then prescribing ineffective drugs to manage the nonexistent disorder.
Why does this happen? It's all about the money! The mental health industry in North America is a multibillion dollar industry that includes the Mental Health Professionals, the Pharmaceutical Industry and the Child Protection Industry all making money based on a pseudoscience called psychiatry.
The public, (especially parents) need to become much more aware of the issues and not just sit by and blindly let this continue. Parents also need to question why someone thinks that their child has some sort of disorder and ask for some sort of proof before blindly believing them, even if they are a "Professional".
People need to also do their own research on the side effects and the effectiveness of a drug before they blindly put it into their bodies or into the mouths of their own children. Every year hundreds of thousands of adults and children are being unknowingly convinced by the Mental Health Industry that they have a disorder that may very well be nonexistent and then convincing them that they need unnecessary drugs that in the long run will destroy their lives all for the sole benefit of these industries. I encourage everyone to take action on this issue now before it is too late so that one day the public will be free of this unnecessary pandemic and our children will no longer be at risk of becoming "Zombie Children" for the profits of these industries.
