This is a little like a social page today, which is why the party picture at the top of this article. No matter the language a party is a party.

Each year CitiDog Magazine host a day on the Puget Sound with a great ride to the Tillicum Village on Blake Island. This is a day with friends and more friends. There are new friends for our furry friends and new friends for us as well. This is a time to reconnect with people from past years and meet new to catch up on all the news in our world of dogs and lives. Share fun stories and enjoy nice hiking on Blake Island while learning the history of this great place. Of course there is food for all and enjoy we a pleasant place scenic and historical. As the day is closing, we head for home on our own special boat.
This year’s event is planned for July 27th, departing at 11:00 AM and returning after a 2:15 PM food will include a buffet of Salmon, salads and dessert. There is always a treat or two for our furry friends as well. Tickets are on sale now and although a little pricy, keep in mind this is an event. This is something that is very special and we will remember for many years to come. Please visit for more wonderful details.

More events include places which support Reading with Rover, be sure to check the social calendar if there is a question. While the next event on our calendar is Frogs and Dogs, July 5th this year, in Issaquah, WA. This event is usually on a Friday, however this year for reasons everyone can figure out is on Saturday. If you are new to the game, there is only a need for good fun and good Beer. There are activities or (friendly competition with Leap Frog Competition, Dog agility and obstacle events, to mention a few). There is unlimited seating, we are told at the event’s center Issaquah Brewhouse 12:00 to 9:00 PM. Again check out this and other events information at

When planning on attending Frogs and Dogs event do not forget Boehme Chocolates are also located very close and who could pass up friendly competition, Ale, friends both furry and human, and then chocolate. Or we could start with the chocolate. Just think about the wonderful time we are going to have and all the time our furry friend will be right there enjoying fun also.
