Last week was filled with lots of exciting charity events and launches. Since it can be impossible to be in two places at once, one event in Los Angeles and the other in New York, I had requested to send photographer to cover the West Coast Jewelry Launch for Michael Raven.
The Doe Fund Charity, based in NYC, has assisted 1,000 people daily to improve their day lives through employment opportunities, permanent housing as well as educational services. Formerly homeless or incarcerated individuals are given life-changing opportunities through the Doe Fund.
The latest fundraiser was held at Classic Car with countless ‘A’ list restaurants including Tao, Magnolia Bakery along with many other prestigious establishments.
While in the ‘holding’ area also known as the red-carpet, it was a true thrill to see ‘Jake’ (Grant Show from Melrose Place) posing for photos.

Over in the lush, Mount Olympus, Hollywood Hills, the Michael Raven VIP celebrity-filled event was the talk of the town. Michael Raven jeweler to the stars has created one-of-a-kind pieces for his famous clientele, launching the exclusive James Brown collection.
VIP guests mingled freely while sipping organic Keylime and Strawberry flavored maragitas.
