The Lord put this weighty matter upon me to release to His people on today, because so many need to not just know, but to experience the love of the Father; and more importantly, to understand and recognize themselves also, as the disciple, the son and daughter, whom Jesus loves.
God is very intentional in His Word. Every single verse in God’s Holy Book contains the very words, terms, phrases, and punctuation that the Perfect Father intended. This being said, then God purposely referenced the disciple (and later apostle) John as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” So why not just write “John?”
John 20:2, 13:23, 19:26, 21:7, and 21:20 all use this same phrase. Not once, in any of these Scriptures, does God call John by name; yet, it is a well-established truth that John was the “disciple whom Jesus loved.”
In order to unwrap this powerfully Divine revelation, we need to better understand the word “disciple,” as it is used in this and the other verses mentioned.
