Southern California reggae rockers The Dirty Heads will bring "Tour Odyssey" to Des Moines on March 4. The tour also brings Shiny Toy Guns, Midi Matilda, and Oh No Fiasco to town. "Tour Odyssey" will hit Wooly's (504 East Locust in Des Moines' East Village) at 7 p.m. on Monday night. Doors for the show will open at 6 p.m. Tickets for this concert are $23 in advance and $25 the day of the show. Tickets may be purchased at the Wooly's box office or online through Ticketfly. This will be an all ages concert.
Members of The Dirty Heads met in high school way back in 1996. The Huntington Beach, California natives released their debut album, Any Port in a Storm, in 2008. The album climbed five different charts in the United States, cracking the Top 10 on the Alternative and Indie charts. The album also produced the smash hit "Lay Me Down", which topped the Alternative and Rock charts in the United States and the Alternative chart in Canada.
The Dirty Heads second album was released in June of last year. Cabin by the Sea has already reached the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 and produced the Top 20 Alternative hit "Spread Too Thin". The album's second single, "Dance All Night", is featured below.
