Can you feel it? Spring is on its way a little earlier than we expected. With that comes yard work, spring cleaning and everything in between that will make you ready for a vacation.

If you’re looking to get away this season but don’t have the time to plan a weeklong stay or the budget to fund an exotic trip across the world, you’re in luck. The Detroit Princess Riverboat offers a variety of entertaining evenings that will take your mind off the hustle and bustle.

Whether you like things upbeat or low-key, there’s an event for every passenger. Upcoming events include the Dockside Dinner for all ages and the Dockside Moonlight Party for passengers ages 21 and up. Take your family back to the early days of Motown, and celebrate Detroit’s Motown memories of the 60s at the Dockside Dinner. Or, dance and drink the night away in a nightclub-style atmosphere with DJs playing top club hits from Old School to New School, hip-hop, R & B and hustle at the Dockside Moonlight Party. Both events take place on March 31, so reserve your tickets today.

Built in 1993 and docked in downtown Detroit, at 201 Civic Center Drive, the 222-foot-long Detroit Princess Riverboat floats you down—you guessed it—the Detroit River. With a total capacity of 1,500 passengers and large outdoor viewing areas on the 4th and 5th decks, there’s plenty of space to enjoy yourself with family, friends or a special someone.
