Kim Kardashian’s wedding gown has finally been revealed on Monday, May 27. Fans only got a blurry photo of her wedding dress from a fan account on Twitter during the weekend. Rumors swirled that Kim got married in a Givenchy Haute Couture gown with long lace sleeves and a long silk veil. Many women on MillionaireMatch are sure to be inspired by this look for their future spring and summer weddings.

Kim’s wedding gown is custom-made for her body, but it looks similar to Givenchy’s 2011 Haute Couture collection. Kim’s gown was adorned with lace and pearls on the bodice. It also has sheer-inset cutouts at the sides and on the back. Kim’s wedding dress also had a long dramatic train, not including the train on her veil. The dress looks as good on the back as it does in the front, thanks to designer Ricardo Tisci.

Ricardo is a longtime friend of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. He dressed Kim in Givenchy at the 2013 Met Gala. Ricardo took to Instagram to post a striking photo of Kim before she walked down the aisle. He captioned the photo, “Final friends fitting #biggestday #kimandkanye #love #paris #couture @KimKardashian @GivenchyOfficial.”

The back view shows a real dramatic side of the gown. It has an open back with sheer-inset cutouts and illusion netting. The back view also shows that Kim’s gown is belted. This gown is finished with a full train and a silk veil with soft romantic edges. Tisci is also spotted in the photo, gawking at the blushing bride as she gives herself one final look in the mirror. She completed her bridal look with parted hair and simple diamond jewels.

This Givenchy wedding dress was a surprising look for the 33-year-old. It’s a very modest and demure look, but it still has a touch of sexiness with its curve-hugging shape and sheer-inset cutouts. Kim is known to show off her shape and to shed some skin. She’s worn a mermaid style and ball gown style wedding dress during her last marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries. No one would ever image that she would don a long sleeve lace wedding dress during her nuptials to Kanye.

As stated before, Kim’s Givenchy wedding dress looks similar to one of the gowns in the 2011 Haute Couture Collection. The silhouette is very similar to one of the lace gowns in the collection. The AW11 Collection is has gowns with lace sleeves, lace-inset cutouts, elongated shoulders and a lace bodice with sheer paneling, much like Kim’s dress.

Kim’s wedding dress looks like a subdued version of the collection even though hers is just as sexy. Tisci said about his collection, “White has become very strong – when women want to be sexy and romantic at the same time, white is there.” This phrase fits perfectly with Kim’s wedding day look. Her dress is still sexy even in white and lace. Women who found their future husbands on MillionaireMatch will surely look to Kim Kardashian and Givenchy as inspiration when shopping for their wedding dresses this year. This wedding dress will probably become one of the biggest bridal trends.
