The Dead Sea Scroll Exhibition at Azusa Pacific University

If you're looking for something to do this summer in LA, one thing you definitely wont want to miss is seeing the Dead Sea Scroll Exhibition on display at Azusa Pacific University.  This rare display of artifacts can be viewed from now until July 18th, 2010.  At the exhibit you can see fragments of the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls, which are the oldest surviving copies of Hebrew scripture.

The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 11 caves off the shores of the Dead Sea between 1947 and 1956.  This archaeological find is one of the most amazing discoveries of the 20th century and give great testimony to our faith as believers.

The Dead Sea Scroll Exhibition also has many other incredible pieces on display such as rare Biblical texts, Torah scrolls and amazing ancient artifacts.

Seeing this exhibit is a rare chance to see history unfold before our eyes.  It can be a time that we can renew our hearts before God while we see this incredible display before us.  May we be reminded of the awesome God these texts write of, and celebrate the millions of lives that have been transformed by knowing Him.

I would LOVE to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. Read the book when it first was published.

If it ever gets decoded properly, it's going to stand the Christianity you know on it's ear.
