Made of Phantoms the third studio album from Los Angeles' The Darlings will be released July 30th. Featuring appearances by Jason Freese of Green Day and Jason Cruz of Strung Out, and produced by Andy Carpenter along with The Darlings' front man Buddy Darling, Made of Phantoms is a dirty rock album with nods to blues, punk and americana interwoven to create a sound that is uniquely The Darlings.

Album standouts include No Sunshine, the album opener does its job: sucks the listener right in with assurances that it'll only get better from here; There's a Madman Livin' in Waco, a bluegrass-y feeling track that is sure to have your feet tapping in the first few bars; and Obsession Road, which seems to oscillate between a tribute to those times you get in a little over your head, and unrequited love: this one is relatable and catchy. That being said, there is not one 'filler' track on this record. Every song has its place and stands on its own merit.

With the official release on July 30th, Made of Phantoms will be available for pre-order on iTunes starting July 11th.
