The Dance Place Step Team presents Step it Up DC

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate the day for love then with 'The Dance Place Step Team' for their third annual 'Step it Up DC.' The fun begins on Friday, February 8 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Dance Place. Located at 3225 8th Street NE, Washington DC., only two blocks from Redline Brookland/CUA stop. There's free and convenient parking, too.

This annual event is a family favorite with everyone and this year promises to be the best yet.

Audiences of all ages will have a blast making free arts and crafts. Getting your face painted, and making jewelry is only part of the fun. There will be a 'make your own Valentine' station. How cool is that! Then the step workshops start at 6:00pm for Beginner Youth, Advanced Youth, and Open Level Adult classes. Then at 8:00pm all participants are invited to perform in the Dance Place theater for an informal performance. The night will end with a awesome treat when Dance Place Step Team performs with special guests.

Tickets are $12 for step class and performance combo, $8 for step class only, $5 for performance only. To purchase your tickets visit www.danceplace.org or... call (202) 269-1600.
