A special Word for 7/3/2014, and the coming week.
“On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, ‘They have no wine.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.’ His mother said to the servants, ‘Whatever He says to you, do it.’
Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, ‘Fill the waterpots with water.’ And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, ‘Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.’ And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, ‘Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!’” – John 2:1-10
This Saturday, Heaven will rejoice with us, as this is the day that my fiancé and I will wed. God has brought us together on this specific day (7/5/2014) to enter into Holy Matrimony. This date was carefully selected by God Himself as our anointed and appointed wedding day. We are blessed to be a Kingdom couple graduating into our Kingdom marriage.
As we will be on our honeymoon the following week, the Daily Word will not run during this time. However, this should not stop you from pressing in and feasting on God’s Word! Take this time to jump in to the revelation concerning this Scripture (John 2:1-10). Why would Jesus’ mother say “Whatever He [Jesus] says to you, do it” after Jesus responded to Mary’s request by remarking “What does your concern have to do with Me?” Seek out the hidden mysteries found in the wine that Jesus made, and also the significance of “keeping the good wine until now.”
Additionally, take this time to ask God how He longs to spend time with you, and in what ways. Draw more intimately unto the Lord, and He will draw you more intimately to Himself.
The Daily Word will return on Monday, 7/14/2014. In the meantime, search through the archives for those hidden treasures that you didn’t discover the first time.
May God richly bless you as you continue to seek Him.
With warmest regards,
And, in service of The Most High King,
Matthew and Zalihta
