The CW renews 'Arrow', 'Supernatural', 'The Vampire Diaries' for 2013-14

The CW announced today a couple of early pick-ups for their 2013 television season, including LA TV Insider Examiner's favorites, Arrow, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries.

These were the three shows we pretty much all expected would get (at least) another season each, but it's still great that the network made the confirmation and announcement now, while the writers and producers are breaking the ends of their current seasons so they can lay groundwork for next year as much as possible.

"We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit Arrow and fan favorite Supernatural on Wednesday night, and the continued success of The Vampire Diaries on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that,” Mark Pedowitz said in a statement to the press.

"Not only do [these three programs] perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season."

Which of these are you most excited to see return? Let us know in the comments below!
