The CW releases its possible new fall pilots

As spring hits, many television fans are waiting on finales and announcements of renewals, but The CW has released its list of potential new fall pilots. At this time none are confirmed but there are several dramas here that we know will make it such as DC's "Flash" and "Supernatural's" spin-off, "Tribes".

Here is a list of the possible fall dramas:

  • Identity is a story about when a young woman in need of a transplant learns she is related to a powerful family whose son is her only hope for a donor organ. The CIA approaches her to investigate the family’s involvement in domestic terrorism and to infiltrate their rarified world. Her loyalty, morality and ethics are tested as she’s forced to slowly build a case against the family who saved her life.
  • iZombie is based on the characters published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint and tells the story of a med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head.
  • Jane the Virgin is a series of surprising and unforeseen events causes a hard-working, religious young Latina woman to be accidentally artificially inseminated.
  • Supernatural: Tribes is the Supernatural spinoff that is airing in the spring as a back door pilot episode of Supernatural, the series explores the clashing hunter and monster cultures in Chicago.
  • The Flash the story created by DC Comic about scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, after a freak accident.

When looking at the line up, "iZombie" may make it as season and "Tribes" and "Flash" will do well with fans of both of their parent shows, "The Arrow" and "Supernatural".

"Identity" may do well with the demographics of The CW but I am not betting on "Jane the Virgin" to make it.

What do you think of these potential shows?
