The CW Network premiered its much talked about show drama, "Life Unexpected" This new show has been praised by critics in the television industry and now us viewers can see what they have been talking about. The CW has been plugging this new show for quite some time and I have to say that all the hype was definitely worth it. This show is heart-warming and very well written.
I was a Gilmore Girls fan for many years and this show offers that same wit and great characters. The show centers around 16-year-old Lux, who has spent her entire life in the foster care system since being given up for adoption. She seeks out her birth parents, Cate Cassidy, a local radio talk show host, and Nate Bazile, a local bar owner. This show brings together Shiri Abbleby (Roswell), Brittany Robertson and Kerr Smith (Dawson's Creek, Justice).
This show seems like it will fill a long-felt void of a family drama on the CW since the departure of Gilmore Girls and Everwood. I think this show will be one that viewers of all ages will enjoy; parents will be able to watch with their kids. Check out some initial reactions from Entertainment Weekly. Also, if you missed the airing of the show, CW will rebroadcast it on Wednesday, Jan. 20th and will also be available on CW Video soon.
