The CW has announced that they will be renewing their veteran hit show, "Supernatural" for a tenth season.

This should not be a surprise to any fans of the show because The CW president Mark Pedowitz, said "I can see the show continuing to a Season 10 and perhaps beyond. I would love for 'Supernatural' to continue for as long as they can continue, as long as they have great stories to tell. From what I've read, Jeremy Carver is writing arcs that could go longer. As long as fans are there and ratings are there, there's no reason it couldn't continue ... If they can still tell great stories and Jared and Jensen still want to do it, why wouldn't you continue?"

When Jared Padalecki found out the news he went to his Twitter account to tweet a possible story line to fans and to share his enthusiasm. This is what he said "It's official! Supernatural will be back for Season 10! Y'all did it! WOOHOO!!! #Supernatural #CWpickups, and, theres already a season 10 storyline: Sam and Dean check into a retirement home, and NOT because it's haunted! #toooldforthis!"

Well of course this would be an interesting story but what else will the Winchester boys get into next season? Well considering that there are nine more episodes this season, and one being a back door pilot for their spinoff, “Tribes”, one can only wonders what the writers have in store for us fans for next season.

"Supernatural" airs on Tuesday evenings at 9:00pm EST after "The Originals".
