The CW fall 2014 lineup: Premiere dates for 'Arrow,' 'Reign,' 'The 100' and more

The CW announced the premiere dates for its fall 2014 lineup on Wednesday (June 25), with the majority of its shows launching in October, according to Deadline.

The network will once again kick off its schedule with the two-night telecast of the iHeartRadio Music Festival airing on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30 starting at 8/7 p.m. CT

The new seasons of "The Vampire Diaries" and "Reign" will begin on Thursday, Oct. 2. "Vampire Diaries" spin-off "The Originals" moves to its new Monday night time slot beginning the following Monday, Oct. 6 at 8/7 p.m. CT. It will be followed that night by a retrospective special of the past nine seasons of veteran series "Supernatural" before being paired with the new hour-long comedy "Jane the Virgin," which premieres two weeks later on Oct. 13 at 8/9 p.m. CT.

New series "The Flash" will debut on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8/7 p.m. CT followed by the season premiere of "Supernatural" at 8/9 p.m. CT. The "Arrow" episodes featuring "Flash" star Grant Gustin as Barry Allen will rerun on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Wednesday, Oct. 8 will see the return of "Arrow" at 8/7 p.m. followed by an encore of "The Flash" premiere, while the second season of "The 100" begins Oct. 22 at 9/8 p.m. CT after "Arrow."

As previously announced, "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 21 premieres on Friday, Aug. 22 at 9/8 p.m. CT. Meanwhile, new episodes of "Whose Line Is It Anway?" will continue to air throughout the summer, sliding to Fridays at 8/7 p.m. CT on Oct. 3.

Returning shows "Beauty & the Beast" and "Hart of Dixie" as well new series "The Messengers" and "iZombie" are being held for midseason.
