The curtain goes up soon on a new boutique hotel, theatre and event venue

BOSTON - The curtain goes up this Spring as this city's theatre district welcomes a new boutique property/entertainment venue, The Revere, a 356-room premiere luxury property with its own entertainment concept, Emerald Lounge, and entertainment and meeting space venue.

The owners, Northwood Hospitality, who have The Palace in Manhattan, have a vision for the hotel, formerly the Radisson and Stuart Street Playhouse. BBGM Interiors who did the W and the St. Regis in New York, have created a contemporary, luxurious aesthetic with warmth and welcoming comfort as they offer three distinct areas for sleep, work and lounging. Each guestroom has its own balcony. Rooms contain oversized desk and views ot the South End, offering exclusive skin care amentities from Skoah which offers the country's only 'spatique' a few blocks away on Tremont St.

The renovation includes a state-of-the-art theatre with 225 seats, each with their own designated workspace and power source. The venue is designed for both business presentations and intimate performances.

Opposite Theatre 1 is a 6,700 sq. ft. Space 57, once the Sack Cinema 57, a new event space that accommodates up to 1,000 guests. The Emerald Lounge will offer a sleek setting for cocktails, light foods, and craft cocktails.

In an unusual partnership with Massachusetts College of Art & Design, the Revere offers senior fashion design students the chance to create and design staff uniforms. The year-long partnership lets students work with hotel management to reflect the hotel through employee uniforms which will be, of course, "Made in Massachusetts" by Classic Apparel in Everett, MA.

In another nod to the arts, the property is enhanced by a major work of art, a lobby sculpture inspired by Richard Serra, adding to the stylish decor and ambience. The lobby, also designed by BBG-BBMG, was inspired by the work of Serra who is a well-known, acclaimed sculptor. Other amenities in the hotel include 30 deluxe suites and a Presidential Suite.
