Breaking and entering is hardly ever a charge in which one can find amusement – until now – all courtesy of Abbeville, Louisiana resident Christopher Taylor.
This past weekend, Abbeville Police report that the Vermilion Parish Courthouse was broken into by Taylor. After entering through a small window located next to the front doors of the building, Taylor can be seen on over twenty minutes of security video. During that time, he apparently walked around the first floor of the building and he purchased a snack from a courthouse vending machine. Once he used the vending machine, he reportedly crawled out of the broken window, escaping into the night. Authorities believe Taylor had been drinking.
Abbeville Police issued a warrant for Taylor’s arrest on charges of Unauthorized Entry into a Business. Once arrested, Taylor is expected to appear in court, ironically enough, in the Vermilion Parish Courthouse.
