Making the announcement official today, Chad Barnhill, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore's Senior Vice President and General Manager joined Duff Goldman at Charm City Cakes located in Baltimore’s Remington neighborhood. Goldman’s bakers at Charm City Cakes, known world-wide for their creativity and artistry, created a giant slot machine cake to kick off the announcement.

The Horseshoe Casino’s signature steak house, Jack Binion’s will be offering slices of Charm City Cakes for dessert. Chef Goldman explained, “As a result of our television show, Ace of Cakes, people want to know where they can taste our cakes and now there will be a place.” The initial offerings will be:

· Old World Carrot Cake (no nuts or raisins) with cream cheese icing and vanilla crème fraîche sauce

· Red Velvet Cake with citrus cream cheese icing and naval orange custard sauce

· Berries and Milk with white cake and chopped seasonable berries in the white chocolate ganache icing and berry sauce.

· Bananas Foster with yellow cake with freshly fried bananas, Grand Marnier caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream.

Being served at Jack Binion’s bar will be Goldman’s homage to a famous packaged dessert snack he is calling dinkies along with cakes-in-a-jar and cupcakes. Charm City Cakes will also be supplying the casino’s banquet facility.

Goldman joins the list of Food Network celebrities who will be sharing their culinary wares at Baltimore's Horseshoe Casino. Chefs John Besh and Aaron Sanchez are opening their first Taqueria called Johnny Sanchez. The 222-seat restaurant will be Mexican themed with fresh, locally sourced ingredients where applicable. The Mexican inspired food and drinks will be available through lunch and dinner. The later part of the evening Johnny Sanchez will become a lounge with live entertainment.

The Food Network’s Diners, Drive Ins and Dives Guy Fieri will be opening up his own restaurant, the 350-seat casual Baltimore Kitchen & Bar that will offer meals throughout the day from breakfast and through to late night dining.
