Do you live on a Cul-De-Sac in Orlando? Well whether you do or not, you might find The Cul-De-Sac Series by Beverly Lewis a fun and lighthearted read for your younger children or even yourself. This series chronicles the life and adventures of nine kids who just so happen to live in a Cul-De-Sac.

These kids are always helping each other out. They solve mysteries and in one book one of the kids makes Pickle Pizza. The kids have adventures concerning their pets, such as the frog and the tarantula. They attend art classes. They get together to do things for their parents and grandparents too.  The series has a Christian aspect too, as characters pray and attend church on Sunday.

These books are probably good for children 2nd and 3rd grade to read by themselves and your kindergartners and 1st graders would probably enjoy hearing you read it to them. These stories have children modeling good manners, good grammar, and attendance of church and prayer, and they are lighthearted and fun.
