10 ways to incorporate cucumbers in daily eating
“Super Hero Cucumber,” has so many positive health benefits. Plus, they are easy to eat. I don't recommend ever giving up coffee, unless it makes you sick, but you could replace a full cup of coffee with a cucumber because it provides as much energy not to mention it also hydrates the body.
There are many varieties of cucumbers so you can choose, as each will have a little different flavor. This is day 2 of the 10 day, Cucumber Series by Food Allergy Gal.
Day 1: Cut cucumbers into round circles and eat them (just like that- bam it’s a simple snack).
- Cut a few sections of skin off the cucumber by pealing the long way. (The skin is very good for you so don’t peal them all the way.)
- Then cut them the short way- chop them up into small thin slices
- Shredded lettuce add a few whole cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. (Adding a hint of a balsamic or apple cider vinegar is great too)
- Add your cucumbers to this great to go salad. (It can be packed in a glass or metal bowl with a top and taken on the road to be pulled out for that later on in the day hunger.)
