Electric Daisy Carnival week will kick off June 17th with the 20 year celebration of one of the biggest acts in electronic music history, The Crystal Method. The legendary Grammy Award-nominated, platinum-selling electronic music duo will be performing at Drai's Beachclub-Nightclub, and will launch the 3rd annual EDMbiz Conference & Expo. The show will be free for EDMbiz badge holders and tickets will be available at the door for the public.

Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland met in Las Vegas in 1988 while working at a Smith’s music store in Henderson, NV. The released their self-titled fifth full-length studio album, in January 2014, which went to #1 on iTunes Top Electronic Albums Chart.

"It's been two decades since this started, and electronic music has enjoyed a huge resurgence," says Ken Jordan. "We wanted to reintroduce ourselves to the world here. The name itself signifies twenty years of doing this. It represents a great deal of hard work, fun, and rewards. It's simply who we are."

"Actually, we hate coming up with album titles, and it was just easier to call it The Crystal Method. It's a Walter White-approved name!" adds Scott Kirkland

"When we started in Vegas it was still Tom Jones, Wayne Newton, and Frank Sinatra headlining on the strip,” adds Jordan. “It's kind of funny that today its Steve Aoki, Tiësto and Avicii. If someone had told us that electronic music would be the biggest headlining attraction when we started, we would never have believed them"
