Whale and dolphin lovers and Flipper fans will be delighted to tune in today to (Maui homeowner) Oprah. Featured will be an interview with the makers of the documentary The Cove, the 2009 Oscar winner about dolphin hunting in Japan. Former Flipper trainer turned activist Ric O'Barry joins Oprah to talk about the effort to stop the dolphin killing. Oprah is broadcast in 145 countries around the world and can be seen today on KHON 2 at 4 and 11PM.
Today's Earth Day-themed show also includes a report on our Pacific Ocean garbage patch and a segment in which two families swap moms; one says she's eco-friendly; the other says she isn't.
