This summer, some of the nations top youth select soccer players will show their stuff at Ankeney Park in Beavercreek as part of US Youth Soccer's National Championship Series. The Ankeney complex will host the Region II Championships.

The National Championship Series is an annual tournament featuring more than 10,000 teams across 55 state associations within US Youth Soccer. The competition begins with nearly 185,000 teams competing in their state association championship series. State champions, and selected wildcard teams, advance through four regional competitions. The winners of each regional competition then meet to compete for the national championship.
The regional championship will provide a fantastic opportunity for the local youth to watch some of the country's top talent compete. Watching high-level soccer is not only fun, but also provides an excellent means for development.
This year, the Region II Championships will be held at the John Ankeney Soccer Complex with round robin competitions taking place June 26-28. Semi-finals will be held on June 29th and the regional champions declared on June 30th. The winners will advance to National Championship to be held at the Overland Park Soccer Complex in Overland Park, Kansas, July 21-25.
