“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” is just months away, and upcoming Marvel installments are busy gearing up. On Tuesday, February 11, Latino Review reports that “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has begun filming! Let the countdown begin.

This is great news for all Marvel fans, as the beginning of filming means there are leaked images and videos to come. Remember the buzz when the first “Avengers” was in the works? Fans got a first look at Loki and some awesome behind-the-scenes footage. There is also always an extra on set that spills some details.

Production will be underway in the next few months. According to the source, the first 10 minutes of the film will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa. “The great thing about this movie is that they are shooting Johannesburg as Johannesburg. Often you will find filmmakers will shoot in Johannesburg and portray the location as Los Angeles. This time around the fist 10 minutes of the film will be of Johannesburg,” Desmond Mthembu of the Gautheng Film Commission says.

The source also speculates that the film will start the action right away, suggesting that the sequel will pick up with, “a villain wreaking havoc – starting the film off with something explosive to get the ball rolling…” None of the leads are in town to film, making the source guess that only the villain will be there.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” hits theaters May 1, 2015. Make sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to catch the latest spoilers on your newsfeed!
