Just because you have to sit in a cube all day doesn't mean you can't enjoy the wonders of nature. A "Condor Cam," the first of it's kind, has been set up for your viewing pleasure in Big Sur.
The "Condor Cam" is giving bird watchers a high tech chance to marvel at the California condor while in it's natural habitat. The solar powered cameras have been placed atop one of the main feeding areas for the birds in Big Sur. Footage of the birds feeding, grooming and flying is now being live-streamed online.
The Ventana Wildlife Society, the non-profit organization that mounted the cameras, say that while testing out the equipment and feed over the weekend more than 20 birds appeared on screen.
