The Communist Party USA's official website has a number of articles offering support and praise for the Occupy Wall Street protest movement. A sampling:
- Occupy Chicago fills the jail with inspiration and solidarity - Written by John Bachtell, a member of the Communist Party USA's National Board. Mr. Bachtell was one of the "occupiers" arrested earlier this month at Occupy Chicago.
- Building the 99% movement - Written by Roberta Wood, Secretary Treasurer of the Communist Party USA.
- Occupation spreads to Detroit! - Written by John Rummel. Mr. Rummel is an "occupier" in Michigan and a contributor to People's World, a newspaper that "enjoy[s] a special relationship with the Communist Party USA, founded in 1919, and publish its news and views."
- Communist Party heralds Occupy Wall Street movement - An un-authored editorial that fully embraces the Occupy movement.
- Solidarity with “Occupy Wall Street” - Another article by Mr. Bachtell, who writes of a conference call in which "Southern California Party leader Arturo Cambron will share how the CPUSA and Young Communist League (YCL) are working in Occupy Los Angeles."
So. It appears that the Occupy movement has been infiltrated by the Communist Party USA, a treasonous organization that was funded by the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
It sure would be nice if some of the "journalists" in the "mainstream media" would mention this troubling connection in their coverage of the Occupy movement ... but I won't hold my breath.
