On Saturday, February 1, 2014, 7:30 pm, the Colorado Kings will be facing one of the newest teams in the American Basketball Association (ABA) the Colorado Chill from Longmont, Colorado.
Both teams coming off of wins against the Shizuoka Gymrats, will be looking for another win when the ball is tossed up on Saturday at Overland High School, 12300 E Jewell Ave, in Aurora. For directions to Overland click here.
The Kings will be playing hard to put another win on the boards in hopes to increase their number in the infamous ABA Power Rankings. They are currently in the 14 position. The Chill would like to defeat the Kings to show the league they too will be a team to watch, from Colorado, for the rest of this season and definitely next.
Tickets are $10 for 13 and older and 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased on line by clicking here or at the door.
As the season grows closer to and end there are yet another two new teams in Colorado the Kings and Chill will be facing, the Colorado Vikings and the Mountaineers. The addition of those two teams will bring the total of ABA teams in Colorado to 6, counting the St. Croix Renegades and the Colorado Cougars.
