From the pictures we have been sent it looks like the team is definitely fulfilling their roles as Ambassadors for this great country. They are playing some tough games and still finding the time, in between the games and practices, to mingle with the people of the country, especially the kids.
Everywhere they go they have what seems to be hundreds of followers.
From the pictures taken at games it appears they have also been playing to packed stadiums of fans of this popular sport.
So far in the series, which is more than half over, they have played each team three times.
The first game was against the Beijing Aoshen Olympians in Zhangjiakou China which was the first win for the Colorado Kings, 101-99.
The second game was against the Beijing Aoshen Eagles also in Zhangjiakou China with a winning score of 110-99.
The third game was against the Olympians again in Zhangjiakou which was the first loss for the Kings with a score of 75-83.
The fourth game, which was their last one in Zhangjiakou China ended with another win against the Eagles with a close score of 75-70.
The fifth game was played in Shijiazhuang China which was the Kings second loss in the series against the Olympians with a score of 75-85.
The sixth and final game of this report was played in Handan China against the Eagles with a win for the Kings and a score of 87-85.
With these games, and the first home game of the season against the Renegades, their record is 5 wins and 2 losses.
With the scores you can definitely tell the teams are very closely matched. There are still 4 games to go in the series before the team comes home. The games will be played in Suning, Ninghe and Tangshan China. The last game will be in Tangshan China on the 6th of November. The team will be arriving back in the United States just in time for the second home game of the season, in the US, against the Arizona Scorpions on November 9, 2013, in the Regis University Field House.
Another update will be given as I receive the game scores so stay tuned on how your Colorado Kings finish out their 2013 Tour of China.
