The cold war in America

See also

There is a cold war being fought in America today and it is not just centered on global warming, cooling or the latest noms de guerre climate change, but it is part of one side’s arsenal. The term “Cold War” was coined by author George Orwell in response to the invention of the Atomic Bomb. With certain annihilation of both sides by all out war, it is a war fought with ongoing psychological warfare, propaganda and proxy wars. He continued “the drift for many decades has not been towards anarchy but towards the reimposition of slavery”.

On the one side of this conflict are the career politicians, the heads of countless bureaucracy’s, race baiters, crony capitalists and anyone who depends on government largeness for a living. Making full use of their willing allies in the media and the entertainment industry to convince us it is better living on our knees than standing up for ourselves.

These groups see nothing wrong with deceiving the public to accomplish their goal of enslaving the public thru taxation and regulation. They firmly believe once the citizenry is completely under control they will joyfully toil away under the watchful eye of their masters. Masters exempt from the burdens imposed on the masses.

Despite the long odds standing up to this juggernaut is the American people who have come to realize these radical changes are not in the best interest of the country or themselves. This feeling of helplessness against the encroachment of government from our paychecks to our daily lives came to a head when our own tax dollars were used to buy the votes needed to pass Obamacare. (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1209/30815.html) This outrage caused some like minded citizens to band together in opposition to form the Taxed Enough Already (T.E.A.) party.

Since this war is not about leveling the playing field, healthcare for all or everyone’s fair share but power and how to acquire more of it, dissent will not be tolerated. The growing discontent must be eradicated. This has proved harder than silencing the lone citizen who dares to stand up like Sara Palin or a Rush Limbaugh. The long arm of our government will send the IRS to audit them, “accidentally” release private records. They can be ostracized by the media as not one of us, out of the mainstream, even lied about to drive home the message. The TEA party as a collective must be labeled in groups that are not one of them to be effective. This psychological warfare and propaganda uses terms like far right wing, gun nuts, racists, religious zealots and even the homophobic term “tea bagger”. Then to turn around and use their own propaganda to justify IRS audits and withholding tax exempt status.

There are those that are slaves to the state already that don’t have the patience of the masters to wait for the equal distribution of America’s wealth. This is evidenced by the proxy wars that break out usually in urban areas. Flash mobs coordinated with the gifts from their overseers (Obamphones) are happening with greater frequency. Apple picking (stealing Apple products) and the knockout game (assaulting victims for fun) have become staples in our culture.

The only thing standing in the way of complete abandonment of our freedom is the second amendment. Both sides realize this but only one side is working to alter this balance of power. On the one hand restricting guns to law abiding citizens since only the government can be trusted with weapons. At the same time as arming local enforcement groups with military grade weapons. So whose side are you on? Do you want to trust your future to government masters and their latest whim? Will you be like the Katrina victims who waited for the government help that never came as the water rose? Don’t ever forget these words: “Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.” ~ Ronald Reagan, from his first inaugural speech as governor of California, January 5, 1967
