Season two of "The Client List," starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, premieres on Lifetime Television Network on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 10 p.m. ET, according to press information from Lifetime. The series stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as Riley, the energetic former high school beauty queen next door who lives a double life as a secret sexy massage therapist specializing in 'Happy Endings."
The second season begins with the season one cliffhanger. Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and her estranged husband Kyle (Brian Hallisay) are having a confrontation at the spa while Riley is trying to sneak out the incriminating black book with the client list.
The client list is the super confidential listing of clients who come to the spa for extra special services. Riley has been acting as manager in the absence of spa owner/madame Georgia (Loretta Devine).
When Riley went to work at the spa, it was with the intention of providing legitimate massages. When her husband, Kyle, deserted her and the two kids, Riley had to step it up and grab the bigger money available to therapists offering 'happy endings' to the clients on "The Client List." It turned out that Riley had a very special gift and developed a listing of rich and powerful male clients.
After Kyle's desertion, Riley bonded with his brother, Evan (Colin Egglesfield), and romance blossomed. Now, Kyle has returned and wants another chance with his wife and kids. Riley has mixed feelings about the return of her spouse, who claims to be reformed.
As the season opens, Riley and Kyle are interrupted by local cop, Nathan (Trevor St. John). Nathan's presence is not a welcome one, as they are in the midst of a confrontation after hours at the spa. The purpose of the cop's visit comes as a huge surprise.
Changes are brewing at the spa. Riley inherits a powerful new client, Judge Overton (Brian Howe) aka “Mr. Louboutin,” whose love for expensive shoes rivals her own. This gives Riley a chance to give a sexy massage with extravagant shoes.
Riley befriends Karina Lake (Tammy Townsend) the mother of one of Travis’ classmates, who is a welcome relief compared to the moms who gossip at Riley's expense in the wake of Kyle’s desertion and return.
Taylor (Elisabeth Rohm) makes some changes at the beauty salon that will require Lacey (Rebecca Field) and Linette (Cybill Shepherd) to become more independent with their clients and their finances.
Guest stars for the season premiere, "Til I Can Make it on My Own," include: Elisabeth Rohm as Taylor Berkhalter. Tammy Townsend as Karina Lake, Trevor St. John as Nathan Young, Marco Sanchez as Graham Sandoval, Brian Howe as Judge Overton, Leonard Roberts as Detective Monroe and Bryce Johnson as Detective Dunbar.
'The Client List' is a series based on the Lifetime TV movie of the same name from 2010. The movie was based on the real life story of a Texas prostitute who turned state's evidence.
