Unsettled weather is expected to continue for the Clarksville area this weekend as the area will remain just to the south of a trough over the eastern United States. This location will allow for a series of systems to continue to move across the region bringing the risk for showers and thunderstorms. The first wave will move through the region today bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain as the main concerns. The chance for precipitation will weaken tonight and through the day tomorrow before the next system moves into the region on Monday. This system will bring the next round of showers and thunderstorms to the region and once again some storms may bring heavy rain and gusty winds to the area. This system will move out of the region by Tuesday and skies will begin to clear by the middle of the week. Temperatures will remain warm through Tuesday with highs in the upper eighties to lower nineties.
