Humid conditions and warm temperatures are expected to continue for the Clarksville area today as high temperatures once again reach the lower nineties. The combination of heat and humidity will allow for an isolated shower or thunderstorm to develop in the afternoon today. The risk for precipitation will increase into the day Saturday as a cold front pushes through the region. This front will bring a line of showers and thunderstorms to the region. Some of the thunderstorms may be strong to severe with heavy rain and gusty winds as the main concern. Relief from the heat is in store behind this front as highs will be near normal, in the middle eighties. The near normal temperatures will continue into the upcoming workweek with a risk for showers and thunderstorms returning on Tuesday.
