A cold front will move through the Clarksville area today bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms back to the region. Some of the showers and thunderstorms overnight tonight and into tomorrow may be strong and possibly severe, but a large severe weather outbreak is not expected. Temperatures will drop as this front passes through as highs for the weekend are expected to be in the middle to upper seventies. A large area of high pressure will dominate the weather pattern through the weekend and into the beginning of the upcoming workweek with temperatures warming back into the eighties on Monday.
