Cold temperatures continue to plague the Clarksville area as another shot of cold air moves in today. This system will bring a risk for a shower and will drop temperatures back into the lower fifties. Overnight lows tonight will be in the upper twenties to lower thirties and this has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Freeze Watch for overnight Thursday. Any sensitive vegetation that can be affected by cold weather should either be brought inside or at least covered to protect them from the freezing temperatures. The cold temperatures are expected to last through the day Friday before a south west breeze begins to take shape over the Clarksville area. This will allow temperatures to warm through the weekend as high temperatures will reach the middle to upper sixties by Monday morning.
