A few showers remain over the Clarksville area this morning as a weak wave moves across the region. These showers should end by mid-day, with skies clearing overnight. Temperatures, however, have dropped as highs today will be in the middle sixties with lows overnight in the lower forties. The cool weather is expected to continue as a secondary cold front moves through the region Friday night into Saturday. This system will keep the cool air in place with temperatures remaining in the sixties on Sunday. Looking ahead to the upcoming workweek, another shot of arctic air will move into the Clarksville area Tuesday into Wednesday, dropping temperatures for the end of the upcoming workweek into the middle to upper fifties.
