High pressure will continue to hold onto the Clarksville area today as partly cloudy skies are expected over the Clarksville area. Temperatures will be on the increase as highs will be in the upper sixties today and then near seventy tomorrow. The warmth will once again be short lived as another cold front will move through the region Wednesday afternoon bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region. Some of the showers and thunderstorms may produce heavy rain and gusty winds, but they will not be as strong as the thunderstorms from last week. High pressure will settle in back over the region for the end of the week as temperatures will fall back into the middle to upper fifties for highs.
