A strong cold front pushed through the Clarksville area last night bringing very gusty winds and heavy rain showers. The rain has moved out of the area and skies will begin to clear during the day today. Temperatures will be cooler today as highs will be in the middle to upper sixties. The temperatures will continue to cool through the weekend as arctic air makes its way into the region as highs will be in the upper fifties Saturday and Sunday. A warm-up is expected for the beginning of next workweek as high pressure settles in over the eastern United States allowing for warm air to move in from a southern breeze.
