The sunny and dry weather continues for the Clarksville area this workweek as highs will once again climb into the middle eighties. This pattern is expected to continue through much of the workweek as high pressure remains over the region. Heading towards the end of the workweek, a slow moving system will move into the Clarksville area bringing clouds overnight Thursday. These clouds will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region Friday and Saturday as it passes through. Some of the showers and thunderstorms have the potential to bring heavy rain. The unsettled pattern will continue through much of the upcoming weekend as this system moves in on Friday.
