Temperatures have dropped in the Clarksville area as high temperatures for Thursday were in the sixties. The chilly weather is expected to continue today and into Saturday as a deep trough remains over the eastern United States. A few showers may make its way through the region today with highs in the middle sixties. Skies will begin to clear by Sunday as the trough lifts northward and highs will return back into the seventies. Temperatures will return to the eighties for the beginning of the upcoming workweek with high pressure moving in causing mostly sunny skies to shine.
