Another warm and humid day is expected for the Clarksville area today with scattered showers and thunderstorms once again possible for the area. The showers and thunderstorms today will continue to be ahead of the main system and may produce heavy rain at times. The main area of precipitation will move through the region Tuesday night into Wednesday bringing another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms. The thunderstorms with this system may become strong to severe with heavy rains and gusty winds as the main concern. The precipitation will finally come to an end by Thursday morning but so does the warm weather as highs for Thursday and Friday are expected to be in the lower to middle sixties.

Thursday: A few showers early, otherwise partly cloudy skies. Chance of precipitation 30%. High: Lower 60s Low: Middle 40s

Friday: Partly cloudy with a few showers. Chance of precipitation 20%. High: Middle 60s Low: Middle 40s
