Unsettled weather continues for the Clarksville area today as the weather system that brought us heavy rain yesterday will bring us showers and thunderstorms this morning. Temperatures are expected to remain warm as highs will be near eighty. The risk for precipitation will drop tonight and tomorrow morning as the system continues to move to the east, but temperatures are expected to stay warm and conditions will continue to be muggy. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected on Monday ahead of the next frontal system that will move through on Tuesday. This system is expected to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region as the front moves through. Some of the thunderstorms have the risk to be strong to severe as temperatures behind this system are expected to drop into the upper sixties to lower seventies.
