High pressure is expected to settle in over the Clarksville area today bringing mostly sunny skies and warming temperatures as highs will be in the lower sixties. The temperatures are expected to continue to climb into the upcoming workweek as highs will be in the seventies Monday and Tuesday. There is the slight risk for a shower overnight Monday with a weak front moving through, but the risk is very low. Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday into Wednesday as the next system approaches the area. This system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region overnight Wednesday through the day Thursday.
