Sunny skies are once again expected for the Clarksville area today as high pressure remains in control. Temperatures are once again expected to be warm as highs will be in the lower nineties. The area of high pressure will begin to weaken through the week and a frontal system will slowly move towards the area, stalling in northern Kentucky. This will allow for the risk for showers and thunderstorms to develop in the area through the rest of the workweek and into the weekend. This pattern will last through the beginning of the upcoming workweek as the frontal system continues its slow movement to the south.
