The Clarksville area forecast for July 9th, 2014

A cold front has moved through the Clarksville area last night and although it did not bring any rain to the region, it has dropped the humidity levels once again. Temperatures today will be slightly cooler with highs in the middle eighties under partly to mostly sunny skies. These conditions will last through the day tomorrow as a ridge of high pressure moves over the region with comfortable temperatures remaining in the middle eighties. This area of higher pressure will move to the east on Friday and will allow temperatures to warm into the lower nineties and the humidity levels to once again increase. Clouds will be on the increase for the day Friday with the risk for precipitation retuning on Saturday. This precipitation is associated with another system that will stall over the region for the weekend and upcoming workweek. This will cause isolated showers and thunderstorms to develop each day of the weekend and into the beginning of the upcoming workweek. This boundary will be the difference between temperatures in the eighties and temperatures in the nineties, thus as the front fluctuates over the area, the temperatures will fluctuate as well between the eighties and nineties with the risk of precipitation continuing.

Here is the Clarksville area forecast:

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds. High: 86

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy. Low: 62

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High: 87

Thursday night: Mostly clear. Low: 63

Friday: Increasing clouds. High: Lower 90s Low: Upper 60s

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a slight risk for a shower or thunderstorm. High: Lower 90s Low: Lower 70s
