A strong cold front will push through the Clarksville area today bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. The best chance for precipitation will be tonight as the front moves through. Any showers or thunderstorms that do develop run the risk for becoming strong to severe with gusty winds and heavy rain as the main concerns. The precipitation will come to an end during the day Wednesday as the front pushes through, but temperatures will not cool off that much as highs will be in the upper eighties on Wednesday. A weak area of higher pressure will build into the region Thursday and Friday allowing for partly to mostly sunny skies to shine over the region with temperatures near ninety. Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, skies will once again become partly cloudy with a risk for a shower or thunderstorms and high temperatures in the lower to middle nineties.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy. Low: 63

Thursday: Partly to mostly sunny. High: Upper 80s Low: Middle 60s

Friday: A mix of sun and clouds. High: Lower 90s Low: Upper 60s
